Material
Shepherds & Kings works solely with directly traded fibers.
Every step along the supply chain is carried out through a trusted network of people — many of whom have become friends. This close-knit, relationship-led approach ensures traceability and quality while fostering a deeper understanding of the materials themselves.
Knowing the people behind each step of the process builds respect for their work and creates a natural sense of accountability.
Rather than starting with a design and searching for the right yarn to match, Shepherds & Kings is committed to starting at the source. Design follows fiber.

Care
Each Shepherds & Kings item is made to be used, loved, and worn. To preserve its quality, character, and longevity, please follow the care instructions below.
1. Washing
Machine wash on the wool programme at 30°C, max. 600 rpm, preferably in a high-quality washing machine. Use a gentle, organic wool detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Place each item in a separate washing bag or pillowcase. Wash no more than three items at a time.
2. Drying
Lay flat on a towel to dry — never hang. Keep away from radiators, direct sunlight, and tumble dryers.
3. Ironing
Use a low wool setting and place a thin cloth between the ironand garment. This will help relax the fibres and restore theirnatural shape.
4. Pilling
Gently remove excess pilling with a cashmere comb or fabricshaver after washing.
5. Storing
Always store folded in a drawer or on a shelf. Do not hang on a hanger. Keep lavender nearby to help prevent moth damage.
6. After Wear
Air out your garment after wearing to refresh the fibres. Allow the fibres to reshape naturally by letting the garment rest for a day or two.
Sizing
All Shepherds & Kings pieces are genderless, offered in one size, and feature extra-long sleeves.
Guided by the natural limitations of a manual knitting machine, every item is constructed in a single, considered size, designed to accommodate a range of body types.
With each collection, the aim is to offer a variety of silhouettes and proportions that cater to different shapes and forms, allowing each wearer to find a piece that feels right for them.
For measurements, please refer to the chart provided under each item.
